Coach
In a nutshell, I started playing soccer at the age of 6 in Upstate State New York in the Chili Soccer League, the so-called "Home of Little League Soccer." I played throughout high school (New York State Champs my Junior Year) and also played in college at the Rochester Institute of Technology. I started as a right wing but was quickly put back in goal when I my coaches found out I could catch the ball pretty well at 7. In addition to playing, I was a referee for a few seasons while in high school.
I love playing soccer and remember that the best part of practice (besides shooting drills which I loved) was when we actually got to play! My goal is to make your kids enjoy the game as much as I do. At the same time, I hope to ensure they get a lot of fun exercise, learn some basic ball handling skills, and some of the rules/strategy of the game. That being said, I new at this so I'm sure some of my "fun games" won't be so much fun. Therefore, if you have any suggestions (or issues) please feel free to contact me here.
